Some links that I have found to be useful:
Personal:
The Well and the Salmon
My blog devoted to the idea of Unverified Personal Gnosis (UPG) in Celtic Polytheism/Reconstructionism and the reconstruction
of "seership" practices of the polytheistic and pre-Christian speakers of the Celtic languages.
My Livejournal page
General Information:
Óenach
An online Celtic Reconstructionist (CR) Live Journal community and forum (which is open to newcomers and the experienced alike)
dedicated to the discussion of CR and other Celtic-related topics from a traditional perspective, that is a perspective more strictly in
accordance history, culture and tradition. If you are interested in "traditional" CR without eclectic leanings, then this is the definitive
place to find answers and to meet others who share your views. I would definitely recommend setting up an LJ account (if you don't
have one) and joining this community. You will have to request membership from the moderators. Simply let them know that you
found the community via this website and you shouldn't have any problems. The individual who moderates this community also runs
Gaol Naofa (please see link below).
Celtic Reconstructionist Pagans of the Delaware Valley
The website of the larger community to which our household belongs. This community also
maintains a Yahoo Group and a Meetup Group. Please feel free to join either.
Dùn Sgàthan
A website maintained by an online friend, Kym Lambert ní Dhoireann and her husband Aaron
Miller, devoted to an outsider Gaelic Heathen Path with lots of great information and links.
Make sure to check out her essays and recommended books!
Tairis
A Scottish Reconstructionist website - highly recommended with lots of great info, recipes, and rituals.
CELT
A great online resource for Irish texts run by University College Cork
Focal.ie
An excellent Irish language website and great resource with online dictionary
In Dúil Bélrai
An "Old Irish to English" and "English to Old Irish" dictionary
Mary Jones' Personal Website
A wealth of information on Celtic Studies and mythology. Very "user friendly" and the best of its kind.
The CR FAQ
A good resource on Celtic Reconstructionist Paganism. It was written by several
leaders of the movement and is a general "consensus" but is not to be taken as "orthodoxy".
Merchants and Their Goods:
I have purchased items from each of these merchants (or know them personally) in the past without any problems but cannot guarantee the same for everyone. I can state, without any reservations, that each of these merchants offered me excellent customer service, were very friendly and sold only quality products to me.
Spirit of Old
A website from Great Britain offering wonderful handcrafted jewelry, ogham, runes, pottery and
a plethora of other items.
Wulflund
A business in the Czech Republic offering great "period" items from various different
cultures. Look especially at the Slavic, Celtic and Viking/Norse items. They are great and the
owner is very friendly.
Raymond's Quiet Press
A great selection of reproductions of metal jewelry and fitting from a variety of different cultures.
They also carry a great selection of drinking horns, but these sell quickly.
Spiral Acorn Jewelry
Featuring the original designs of a member of our local Celtic Reconstructionist group. Very nice jewelry. He also does custom work.
